Chad Stocker, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Chad was a member of the golf team at St. Xavier from 1995-1997. After he graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2001 where he majored in Marketing, Chad started his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Audubon Country Club from 2002-2010. He gained PGA Membership status in 2008. Chad competed in the Assistant Professional National Championship twice and the PGA Professional National Championship twice. Chad was the Head Golf Professional at South Park Country Club from 2010-2018. Chad joined the Cardinal family at UofL Golf Club as the Head Golf Professional in the Summer of 2018.
Chad and his wife Kathleen have three children Mason, Ava, and Reece. As a lifelong Cardinal fan, Chad enjoys watching the Cardinals play with his family and friends.
Assistant Golf Professional
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Brad attended St Xavier High School from 2009 - 2013 and played football all four years. Brad began his career working at Woodhaven Country Club and most recently was the Assistant Golf Professional at Oxmoor Country Club. Brad is in the process of enrolling in the PGA Associates Program. Brad joined the Cardinal Family as an Assistant Golf Professional in the Summer of 2022.
Brad enjoys watching golf, football, basketball, and spending time with his family, and fishing with friends.
Assistant Golf Professional
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Zach has played golf since he was four years old and was a member of the golf team at DeSales High School from 2005-2008. He began working in golf in high school at South Park Country Club from 2006-2016 and went on to be the Assistant Golf Professional at Standard Club from 2016-2022. Zach joined the Cardinal family at UofL Golf Club in the Fall of 2022 as the Assistant Golf Professional.
Zach has been a lifelong fan of the Cardinals and enjoys watching them play with friends and family. Zach's other hobbies outside of golf include going to live sporting events and concerts and enjoying time with his friends and family.
Director of Instruction
Mike has dedicated his professional life to understanding and teaching the golf swing and has been awarded two separate Kentucky PGA Awards. He turned professional in 1990 after a successful collegiate golf career at LSU. Mike was in the lineup for teams which won the SEC Championship in 1987 and ranked #1 in the USA in 1989. His professional career from 1990-2015 included stops at great golf facilities in Louisiana and Kentucky. Mike was the Head Golf Professional at Owl Creek Country Club from 1999-2015 and became a full-time instructor at the University of Louisville Golf Club in 2016.
Mike runs programs for adults and juniors throughout the year at ULGC and is especially proud of his Mike Finney Junior Golf Academy which has exposed hundreds of junior golfers to high-level instruction in their quest to play high school and college golf. Mike has built a program that is consistently producing Division 1 talent as well as helping middle school golfers become quality high school players.
As one of only 12 instructors worldwide who is a TrackMan Ambassador, Mike understands and advocates for the benefits of TrackMan data in day-to-day instruction. Mike exclusively fits Ping golf equipment.
